Rayne is passionate about the benefits that can be found in massage therapy. Rayne has always loved working with her hands and has had a passion for health since a young age. Growing up she dove into yoga, medicinal herbology and reflexology. Studying horticulture and working on greenroofs, organic gardens and high end residential landscaping projects for her previous career enabled her to see the direct benefit of preventative self-care and injury rehabilitation for the ability to be able to continue to work/play as one goes through life.
As an avid traveler and adventure seeker, Rayne moved to Vernon in 2014 from Ontario for a career change and commenced studying to become an RMT at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy. Rayne truly enjoys working with people from all walks of life. In her treatments she implements trigger point release, soft tissue release, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, as well as Swedish relaxation techniques. She believes in good communication, enjoys answering questions and helping people feel comfortable, safe and in control of the treatment of their body/injuries. Complementing her career as an RMT, Rayne also studied to become a yoga teacher, she found it incredibly helpful as part of her own rehabilitation post Motor Vehicle Accident. She enjoys educating her patients and providing homecare for them to help decrease their pain and to move them along their path to recovery.
Outside of the clinic Rayne can be found hiking in the mountains with her pups, skiing, mountain biking, kayaking, riding her motorcycle, rock climbing and gardening. She enjoys celebrating our body’s incredible ability to heal and to move and is thrilled to be able to help you along your journey to better health as well.
